These campgrounds offer an outstanding opportunity to jump into our RVs, get away from our devices, spend quality time with friends and family, and enjoy the great outdoors. These memories can all happen without spending extra time or gas on traveling!

Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground
12100 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd, St Paul, MN 55124
The Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground is a fantastic campground that offers plenty of amenities for the entire family. Located at the center of 2,000 acres of lakes and forest, the campground offers things like a camp store, children’s playground, picnic tables, a laundry facility, and onsite caretakers. Wi-Fi reception is also available, but it is only available in the West Camping Loop. The camping season is from May 2 to October 16 and the campground’s office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Critically, reservations must be made online (via the link above).
2309 Baker Park Rd, Maple Plain, MN 55359
Located in the Baker Park Reserve, Baker Campground offers 203 campsites (103 of which offer electricity). Each site holds a maximum of eight people. You can choose to place either two tents or one tent and one RV on your campsite. On each site, visitors will also find a fire ring and picnic table. To reserve a specific campsite, you can click the link above or call 763-559-6700. If you’d like to upgrade, you can also take advantage of one of Baker Campground’s five 12’x16’ cabins.
Along with plenty of campsites, visitors to Baker Campground can explore everything that the Baker Park Reserve has to offer. This includes things like swimming beaches, hiking and biking trails, and watercraft rentals. The campground is open through October 23, 2022.
St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park
10191 St Croix Trail S, Hastings, MN 55033
St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park is located along the St. Croix River. In this 685-acre regional park, visitors will find plenty of activities, including hiking trails, a playground, picnic area, swimming, two tennis courts, a basketball court, and more. If you have a boat, you can also take advantage of a motorized boat launch.
As far as accommodations, St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park offers a large campground. The campground has 26 pull-through campsites and 36 back-in campsites. Visitors will also find 11 tent-only sites (that don’t contain electricity).
1515 Keats Ave N, Lake Elmo, MN 55042
Lake Elmo Park Reserve is a fantastic site for camping and outdoor activities. As for the campground, it offers many different types of accommodations. Visitors can choose from three group campground sites (up to 50 people per site), five hike-in tent sites, 80 modern campground sites, and 20 non-electric back-in sites. Pets are not allowed at any of these sites.
Lake Elmo Park Reserve itself has plenty of activities for visitors. Some of those activities include equestrian trails, a swim pond, a canoe and kayak launch, and hiking trails. There is also a motorized boat launch and several play areas throughout the entire property.
2341 Park Pl NW, Prior Lake, MN 55372
Dakotah Meadows RV Park is located around a pond in the Minnesota River Valley. Guests will find 122 RV sites (some of which are paved, pull-through, or back-in sites). These sites contain water, electric, and sewer hook-ups. Visitors will also find 24-hour showers and restrooms.
As far as other activities, Dakotah Meadows RV Park is family-friendly. Visitors can take advantage of an outdoor pavilion that contains picnic tables, BBQ grills, and an outdoor playground. Should they need it, visitors can also visit a mini-store and laundry on the park grounds.
Town & Country RV Park and Campground
12630 Boone Ave, Savage, MN 55378
Town & Country RV Park and Campground contains more than 80 campsites. Visitors will find 50 full hook-up sites, 16 tent sites (with water and electricity available), and 35 electric and water sites. Pets are welcome and there is free wireless internet.
This campground also has plenty of amenities for the entire family. During the summer months, visitors can take advantage of free kids’ crafts and family activities. 13101 County Pkwy B, Coon Rapids, MN 55433
Bunker Hills Campground is another great campsite in the Twin Cities area. Here, visitors will find 71 campsites. There are a variety of campsites, including a group site (which can house up to 30 people), two camper cabins, and more. The camping season takes place from April 29 through October 23.
Beyond the cabins themselves, visitors can access many different recreation facilities within the park. Some of those facilities include an archery center, activities center, water park, and stables. Visitors can also take advantage of three playgrounds. It’s a great campground for families, children, and individuals who want an unforgettable experience in the outdoors.
7373 Main St, Centerville, MN 55038
Rice Creek Campgrounds are only 25 miles away from the Twin Cities. At this campsite, visitors can find 80 campsites. These campsites come in different shapes and sizes, including a group site that can house 60 people and two camper cabins. These campsites offer water and electrical hookups. Guests can make reservations for up to seven consecutive nights.
Beyond the campsites themselves, visitors can fish, golf, swim, and boat at Rice Creek. There are plenty of activities for families (including regularly-held nature programs).
Minneapolis Southwest KOA Holiday

Minneapolis Southwest KOA Holiday is a family-friendly site that offers plenty of amenities. For starters, visitors can take advantage of bike rentals, walking and hiking paths, Saturday night hayrides, a mini-golf course, and more. Visitors will even find an indoor heated swimming pool.
As far as accommodations, guests can find level pull-through campsites and air-conditioned cabins. With free Wi-Fi and a well-stocked guest store, visitors will have a fun and relaxing time at this campground. Minneapolis Northwest KOA Journey

Visitors at Minneapolis Northwest KOA Journey can enjoy the great outdoors by taking advantage of 20 acres of forest and greenery. Some of the many amenities that visitors can find at this campground include Wi-Fi, firewood and propane, a dog park, and mini-golf. The pool is open from May 28 to September 6 and there are free holiday hayrides.
The campground offers many different campsites, including sunny or shady level sites. Visitors can also find pull-through RV sites (some of which can span 80 feet).
